HOUSTON, May 21, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In the largest donation in the company’s history, Service Corporation International (SCI) and its associates are donating $1,093,961 to the United Way of Greater Houston as the 2014 giving campaign comes to a close.

Since 1988, SCI and its Houston Associates have helped support families and individuals throughout the Greater Houston area by raising and donating more than $7.4 million to the United Way. The funds that have been raised help the United Way of Greater Houston fulfill their mission of improving lives and building a stronger community.
